I think my favorites are spread out pretty evenly between the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, and Japan, with some others thrown in.

A lot were great, but I certainly would not make that claim.
Most of my favorites are either German, Swedish, or Norwegian in descent.

With traditional heavy metal perhaps, but we can’t forget Slayer, Metallica, Anthrax and Megadeth. Plus central and eastern Europe rule metal now (Germany, Scandinavia, Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy etc.)
