How do you play metalcore type riffs on a guitar? Rock Pop?

What do you mean how? You say that you play guitar a lot…so you should know how. If you know how to read tabs then thats half the battle! I’m sorry I don’t know what to tell you my friend…you need to be more specific.
edit…ummm, okay. Well let’s see, you plug your guitar in, turn your amp on, make sure you turn it up with lots of distortion. Grab your pick and play really fast palm muted chords…and throw in some duel guitar leads. Dude, seriously, read your question again and tell me what exactly you are asking…it’s pretty damn vague.
