Why am I called a sell out if I try hard in school, speak correct English, and lsiten to pop/rock?

This is a very interesting thing that has happened to black communities, even in middle class and upper middle class communities.
Kids are ‘cool’ if they are ghetto…..and teachers are blamed when they drop out of school!!! Isn’t that something?
Sorry, don’t know why it is, only that it is. You need to rise above allof that crap and have a long term goal you are striving for. Keep thinking of them being in prison while you are making $100,000 in 10 years.

It is the caliber or class of blacks that you are encountering or associating with. There are educated blacks in america that are successful and have class. You just have different interest or hobbies that does not make you white washed. Stay away from the ghetto mama’s and papa’s.
